Its nearly overwhelming to discover. However, after you have it assembled, its really quite nice. And when you think that someone in Thailand had to cut these pieces out of rubberwood, you do have to appreciate how much work went into this, by someone in another country. I had been admiring this for a while, and spontaneously grabbed it. It is now being used as my art supply cabinet, which holds my lamp, desktop easel, brushes, and supplies, and it takes up very little space. Actually, it solves my entire storage solution for all of my art supplies, and I really like it. Just know that it has 40 separate pieces of wood unassembled and 74 screws, but if you are handy and able to, I do think its worth it. So, thumbs up, but whew, get a few people to help... I bought this cart to organize my sewing and crafting supplies, and it is perfect. I just regret that this will be in my closet where no one will see it.I really love this cart, and the only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because of the extremely shoddy packaging. It was shipped in really thin cardboard and the pieces were wrapped in paper with no cushioning at all. Two of the wooden supports were damaged, and cracked along the grain. It took longer to assemble because I had to drag out the wood glue and mending plates. Otherwise, assembly was simple, but with 7 drawers to put together, it took quite a few hours. Definitely a weekend project. |
